Had another go this morning and all seems well so far. Thanks for all the help. The biggest problem the Oxgear is a hybrid machine. X axis is belt driven, the Y axis is rack and pinion and the Z axis is leadscrew. But all seems well now.

I think I did try that but it did not work. Thing is the Oxgear uses belts, leadscres and gears so it makes it a little bit harder. My own Workbee which is all leadscew worked straight out of the box.
