Replacement Rare Earth Magnets – CNC 3D Magnetic Plasma Breakaway Assembly (Pair)
Keep your breakaway system performing exactly as it should with your replacement rare earth magnets, purpose-built for our CNC 3D magnetic plasma breakaway assemblies.
These are the same high-strength magnets used in your original setup, designed to deliver reliable holding force while still allowing clean, consistent breakaway when it matters most.
What you can expect:
Supplied as a pair of high القوة rare earth magnets
Housed in the same style protective metal cups used in your original assembly
Built to maintain strong magnetic hold and dependable performance
Important fitting notes:
Your magnets arrive pre-installed in their housings, however these housings are not reamed to match your existing setup. In most cases, you’ll simply reuse your current cups for the best fit and alignment. Replacement of the cups is optional, not required.
 
Handling and installation tips:
These magnets are extremely powerful, and a little care goes a long way in keeping them in perfect condition:
 
Avoid letting magnets snap together as they can chip or crack on impact
Do not overtighten the mounting bolt, as this is the most common cause of damage
When separating magnets, secure one edge and gently slide it free rather than pulling directly apart
Using a screwdriver with a soft buffer such as rubber or a cloth can help ease them apart safely
 
If you want to add an extra layer of protection, a small piece of electrical tape over the magnet or inside the cup can act as a buffer and help reduce the risk of damage during use.
 
A quick note on durability:
If a magnet has a small chip or is missing a corner BUT is still firmly secured by the countersunk bolts, your setup will often continue to operate effectively. In many cases, replacement isn’t immediately necessary unless performance is affected.

IMPORTANT NOTES!
The cups provided with this are the original cups and the holes have NOT been reamed out to fit the original bolts on the plasma sliding assembly. The metal cups are designed as more of a protective cover for the magnets themselves. If you are buying these magnets to replace broken ones on your existing CNC3d plasma sliding assembly then please reuse the existing cups for convenience!
 
When fastening the magnets! 
Make sure to only apply a very small amount of pressure on the magnets! - Our team tighten the original magnets by hand. As soon as we feel the change in resistance after we've entered the nyloc portion of the fastening nut, apply 1/8th extra turn, that should be all you need!
