3D Store Warranty and Return Policy


Sometimes products need to be returned due to faults or other reasons. Please read the below information regarding our returns policy.

Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law - Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


Items purchased online must be returned by mail at your own expense providing the general returns conditions above are met. Please contact our Customer Service Team on (07) 5522 0619 to obtain an RA (Return Authority). All Returns lodged through mail must have an RA number or the packages will be refused and returned to sender. Returns may take up to 14 working days to process. We recommend sending your returns with tracking so you can see when it has been delivered. CNC3D is not responsible for lost packages. Refunds will be issued back onto the same credit card that was used to place the order. Please note CNC3D will not refund the original delivery fee unless products are determined to be faulty under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please note: We do not offer returns for change of mind due to the complexity of the products we have on offer.

 

Refunds and returns on Kits

While we offer all relevant warranties on the individual components of our kits and back them up with our excellent support before, during and after assembly It is important to note that our CNC Kits require assembly by yourself and since they are not provided as a completed product they may not be covered under the same regulations of Australian Consumer Law as completed products. 

 

All refund requests of full CNC kits are classed purely as a "Change of mind" as we cannot guarantee the quality of the assembly that has taken place and likely any damage caused by misuse of a poorly assembled kit. This also includes any refund requests due to kits being too difficult or cumbersome to assemble.  As a result will not honour any refunds of any kits unless otherwise approved by our Director. 

How does our Support work?

Our helpful support team are available via Phone, Email, Facebook or via our Website chat to assist you with products you have purchased from us. Calling via phone is limited to our standard business hours as listed on our Contact Us page. Someone is usually available to offer limited support after hours and on weekends using online methods like Facebook or our website chat.

Warranty Periods

We offer a standard 12 month warranty on all products in our range with the following exceptions:

VFDS

All VFDs have a 6 month warranty.

Spindles

All Spindles have a 6 month warranty but there is no warranty on the shaft bearings as they are considered a consumable.

Consumables

 The following consumable items have no warranties associated.

  • End mills & router bits

  • Bristle strips

  • Collets

  • Bearings - sold individually or as part of an existing assembly

  • V-wheels and Mini V-wheels.

  • Bearing blocks and profile rails
