Who we are​

CNC3D started in 2017 with a simple goal: build CNC machines we'd actually want to own ourselves, and back them with the kind of support hobbyists and small businesses in Australia couldn't find anywhere else.

 

We're an Australian-owned manufacturer of CNC machines, based on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Everything we sell, we'd put on our own benches. Our QB2 router, the Metal Storm, and the Nighthawk CNC controller are all engineered in-house, built in Australia, and tested by the same people who'll answer your call when you've got a question at 4pm on a Tuesday.

Today we're best known for the QB2, the Metal Storm, and the Ultimate Bee kit (Bulkman3D's self-assembly take on the QB2 concept), all running our Australian-designed Nighthawk controller and free CNC3D Commander software.

Beyond the machines, we stock a deep catalogue of spindles, endmills, VFDs, linear motion parts, and 3D printer upgrades to keep your workshop moving. Whatever's on your bench, chances are we've got the part for it - or can get it for you.

Why we exist

​

Good CNC machines should be backed by real support, not a contact form into the void. Every fully assembled machine we ship is assembled and tested by our team, and every customer gets a direct line to us. Need a hand mid-project? We're a small, passionate team. Most of us came to CNC because we wanted to make things, and we're still chasing that same buzz. Hobbyist or commercial, first machine or fifth, we're here to help.
