These 45mm cutting diameter, 2 Flute, 4 blade indexable surfacing cutters / router bits are excellent for surfacing slabs of timber for a smooth finish. It features 4 x high grade YG6X carbide replacable cutting inserts that have 4 matched sides meaning that as the teeth eventually dull over time, they can simply be rotated to a new side minimizing the need for replacing the teeth.
These cutters are engineered for daily commercial and industrial use.

Please Note
Due to the size of these bits, ensure they are mounted as high as possible into the router/spindle to reduce any run-out and possible breakages.
It is highly recommend to ramp your plunges with these cutters but if you absolutely must plunge straight downward, reduce plunge rate to 100mm/m or less to avoid chatter!
Be careful when cutting or engraving MDF and some particle timber products as they produce a lot of fine dust that can irritate the throat, eyes and lungs. It is recommended to use a dust shoe and suitable dust extraction system when machining these products.
Please be aware that these cutters have a 12mm shank and will NOT fit in a 1.5kW spindle or an ER11 collet, such as those supplied standard with CNC3D QueenBee, Ultimate Bee and QB2 machines. ER11 collets have a maximum shank capacity of 7mm.
