We have specifically chosen a 65x50cm working area to be a comfortable balance between job versatility and overall size of the machine making it easy to leave on a desk or pack away for easy storage when not in use.
 
The kit includes everything you need to get it going and can be assembled with basic hand tools in less than half a day. The instructions are clear and simple to follow.

Choosing the 15w Laser Option:
 
The 15w laser solid-state laser design is the perfect gift for that creative person who has *almost* everything else.
 
The 15w laser are capable of cutting some thin materials BUT we recommend the use of the laser for engraving only, as we cannot guarantee the laser will safely and cleanly cut the material. 
 
We have worked with our suppliers to deliver a high quality laser diode that can run at 80% duty cycle constantly for a full 60 minutes (or greater) of operation.
 
This 15w 445nm Blue laser module can do some incredible engraving on the following material:
Leather
Timber
Most Plastics
Bamboo
Paper
Cardboard
 
 
Choosing the 30w Air Assist Laser Option:
 
The 30w 450nm blue laser that has an air assist system designed for clean and crisp cutting on timbers and some acrylics and also includes an easy magnetic laser safe cover for engraving as well.
 
The laser itself consumes 30w of power at 24V and the design consists of 2 x 8w 450nm laser diodes running at 100% duty cycle that have their beams converged into 1 powerful laser beam.

The controller is the brain of your laser engraver and is how you interact with the machine to bring your ideas to life.
 
The Standard GRBL Controller is a low-cost option which has basic control functionality. It does not offer the protections and control options included with our Nighthawk SCRIBE.

This package has been thoughtfully designed to offer an affordable entry into CNC using our premium lasers and controllers. Because it blends our technology with a more universal laser frame, it does involve a bit of hands-on assembly and some light customisation beyond standard step-by-step instructions.
