Welcome to CNC3D's High Performance Filament Range!

After intensive R&D, we've chosen this premium-grade PETG filament, appreciated for its superior durability and versatility.

PETG filament can withstand heavy usage and impacts - making it ideal for mechanical parts, protective components, and any application requiring an extra level of toughness. Unlike other filament materials, PETG also possesses an impressive level of flexibility that reduces the risk of breakage under load.

PETG filament has higher temperature and wear resistance than PLA or PLA+ filament making it perfect for models or parts that are destined for these environments, for example inside cars, exposed to direct sunlight, or gears in a gearbox.

If you’re looking to work with PETG for the first time, be aware it can be a bit stringy and could leave blobs on your print, so it's important to fine-tune your retraction settings. A direct drive extruder can give you the best results while printing with PETG filament.

PETG fits perfectly in the niche between the ease-of-use of PLA+ and the high performance of ABS without the significant drawbacks of both such as PLA’s brittleness and ABS’s high temperature requirements and dangerous fumes while printing, however sometimes it is not the best choice.

For instance, our High Performance PLA+ is a better option when you need detailed prints with a smoother finish or have a lot of overhangs or supports in your prints.

    Specifications:
    Filament Diameter: 1.75mm
    Product Weight: 1.2kg

    Recommended Print Settings:
    Nozzle Temperature: 215 – 230 Degrees Celsius
    Bed Temperature: 80 – 100 Degrees Celsius

Print settings are general recommendations, and each printer will work slightly differently. It’s a good idea to dial in your settings for perfect results every time.

PETG is hydroscopic and will absorb moisture from the surrounding environment, reducing its printing performance. When not in use we recommend removing the roll from the printer and storing it in a dark, dry location.
