Hi Guys,
I have successfully built and setup my new CNC machine and have completed the machine setup using WiFi. I find the WiFi not reliable and want to use direct USB connection.
However, no matter what sequence of driver install i use, the comm port driver will not successfully load. i never have problems with other brands of USB to serial devices as we use them all the time.
Screenshots below, any ideas ??
Windows 7 professional
Thanks,
Glen

Hi Guys,
The voltage across these pins is 12.49 V DC
I have also just sent some emails directly to your solutions email address for some other assistance as i cannot get any gcode job to run and clearly have some basic newby errors going on...
Thanks !
Glen
Can you please check the voltage across the 12V laser pin and the 3P GND pin?
The Input voltage to the Nighthawk is 24.2 volts.
Thank you. That is very odd. Can you confirm the input voltage to your NighthawkCNC controller?
Hi There,
I now have the direct USB connection working, it took several restarts and manual enable / disable of the device to get it to work, but it is now working :
Hi Glen, Can you confirm which version of Commander you have installed? Go into the about box. It should be Build 260. If it is build 260, are you trying to stream the job over wifi by using the "Run Job" button or are you uploading the jobs to the SD card and running them from the "Run SD job" button?
