I have not been able to get the Job visualizer to work "View Job".
When I load in a job and hit View job it just gives me an error. I am using a post processor of GRBL Inches. Should that matter? Also is there a way to visualize the job off the SD card? Or would I need to load in the code from my computer?
Secondly when I used to use the Openbuilds control there was a feature to "Check size" of the job you are about to run and it would move around the perimeter of the cut area. Is this possible with the cnc3d?
Thanks,
Eric
Hi everyone, For those users who used the ZIP file installer this will cause the issue. We recommend deleting that version of Commander and using the proper installer package from here: https://www.cnc3d.com.au/commander To tell if you have the ZIP version, go into your Add/Remove programs section, if Commander is not in the list then you likely have the ZIP version.
This should resolve the issue for you. :)
There is a new version of Commander coming out soon too with some cool features!
I have the same problem. I will try to add more information about it.
The file is loaded w/o errors
After clicking on view job there is an error:
"An error occurred when processing your file viewer may not work. Please try another file."
After clicking on OK, the second error appears: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
After OK, the viewer starts but is empty.
I tried with other files. The same result.
The operating system is Windows 10 Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042.
