These 2 flute Down cut endmills are designed to force swarf downward into your cut leaving for a very clean top finish. Opposite to a spiral up cut, a down cut will give you a perfect top finish but a burred bottom finish. These endmills will produce some excellent engravings but due to the nature of the design they are not recommended for cutting all the waythrough materials as they will leave a rough bottom finish. 
 
These endmills are made from solid Japanese carbide and have no coating at all.

Please Note
These endmills produce a lot of fine dust and a good extraction system and dust shoe is recommended when using these endmills.
 
Please note: The 8mm or larger shank variants of these endmills will not fit a 1.5kW spindle or an ER11 collet, such as those supplied standard with CNC3D QueenBee, Ultimate Bee and QB2 machines. ER11 collets have a maximum shank capacity of 7mm.
