Now lets meet the YouCarve, A CNC router system for home hobbyists and Makers. These CNC routers are extremely functional at a very affordable price.
 
Designed and manufactured right here in Australia at our Gold Coast workshop, Our objective was to create an easy to setup CNC kit, with most of the hard work done and provide all of the bits required to simply Plug and Play straight into your normal wall socket with no extra wiring or additional setup required.
 
Simply add a trimmer, laser OR both and attach an MDF spoilboard and you are ready to start Making!
 
You can work with a variety of materials including:
Timbers (Hard and Soft)
Plywoods (Hard and Soft)
Plastics (Acrylic, ABS, polycarbonate)
Most composite panels Foams (various types as long as the manufacturer confirms they can be machined)
 
**Note: Although it is definitely possible, we do not recommend machining alloys with our YouCarve. If you require a machine for Alloy work, we recommend purchasing a SharpCNC, QueenBee Range or Metal Storm Machines. You can compare our machines HERE.
 
What's included with the standard kit?
YouCarve CNC frame
Stepper motors
Nighthawk SCRIBE CNC controller
24v fully enclosed Australian standards approved meanwell power supply.
All wiring with plug and play ends into controller & Limit switches
Cable chains
Endmills and adapter to get started (For wood) (only supplied with router option)
 
 
You can choose to add a router to your YouCarve or you can use your own existing one.
If you would like to use your own router please ensure to add a router bracket to your order that suits it, a link can be found HERE
 
** Please note that this is a brushed router and the brushes will require replacing over time. You can visit your local hardware store for replacement brushes. The brushes are NOT covered under warranty as they are a consumable item.**
 
 
Mostly Assembled vs Fully Assembled:
The mostly assembled option is best suited for Local, Interstate and International shipping.
 
The machine is broken down to major components when shipped so some assembly is required.
 
Pick up also available for mostly assembled machines.
 
The Fully assembled option is available for Local Pick-up only and includes the spoilboard fitted, as well as the machine secured to a baseboard.
 
If you choose Local pick up for the fully assembled options please ensure you allow room for 1200 x 1200 to fit the machine in your vehicle.
 
What other things do I need?
The only thing that is required to get cutting is a spoilboard, this can be cheaply purchased and cut to size from Bunnings, we recommend using 16mm MDF.
