Released 17 October 2026. Version 1.1 build 359 of CNC3D Commander and the CNC3D Design Suite: 6 new features, 3 bug fixes. Download the latest build (free, Windows).

New features

  • AI Assistant has some upgrades with longer replies and better selection of models.

  • 3D Model image generation has improved detail.

  • The AI Helper in Commander and the AI Assistant in the Design Suite can bring your suppliers, stock, products, machines and clients into CNC3D Business from a spreadsheet, CSV, contacts file, PDF or photo, with a preview before anything is saved and one-click undo.

  • CNC3D Business now has a Products list, in the Business window and on the website.

  • Settings > AI Helper has a new Effort choice (Low, Medium, High) so you decide how hard the assistant thinks and how much it costs on your API key, and new setups start on Sonnet 5.5 at Medium.

  • The Generate 3D model window remembers your Detail setting, previews at that detail, and opens a sample picture full size when you double-click it.

Bug fixes

  • Commander no longer reports an SD card job as finished while the machine is still cutting its last moves.

  • AI Assistant replies no longer stop part way with a length limit message on long jobs.

  • Saving a supplier in CNC3D Business no longer clears its address.
