Released 9 September 2026. Version 1.1 build 354 of CNC3D Commander and the CNC3D Design Suite: 3 new features, 2 bug fixes, a NightHawk firmware update. Download the latest build (free, Windows).

New features

  • CNC3D Design suite default Post Processor now records the stock size and start point so the visualizer can accurately show you your stock and start position.

  • CNC3D design suite now have a Nesting function for selected shapes.

  • CNC3D Design suite’s Image to STL tool now supports manipulating existing STL’s directly.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug with trying to start from specific line before the job had finished loading.

  • CNC3D Design suite 3D carving has been improved with smarter and more efficient tool path strategies.

Nighthawk Firmware Update to V3.4

  • Changed the dual axis homing cycle so that only the actual switch that is triggered will illuminate. This is designed to help those calibrating their dual axis homing initially.
